The new underground bus station at Union Station is scheduled to open in 2015. The current projection, based on January 2010 schedules, is for 664 buses per day to operate through the new station in 2015, increasing to 697 per day starting in 2020. . The following spread sheet shows the planned number of buses per hour for Years 2015, 2020, 2025, 2030, and 2035. Local buses 0 and 15L, plus the CBD Circulator, will access and depart the bus station via 18th Street. Except for deadhead buses (120X, B/BX/BF, and L) entering the station between 12 P.M. and 1 A.M. that will access the bus station’s west ramp via 20th and Chestnut, all other buses will access and depart via the ramp off I 25 that passes behind the Ice House Parking Garage.
